President and CEO for XBS Global is David Robb.
Robb has nearly 30 years experience consulting with small business owners regarding their merchant services, electronic payments, financial resources and office automation technology.
He started his career in the payments industry as sales manager for a successful agency in Warwick, RI. He was then recruited by a large international ISO headquartered in California to be a Regional Sales Manager for 7 states in the mid-west and relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1998. Within two years Robb became the top performing Regional Manager in the country and accepted the additional responsibility of National Sales Trainer.
Dave took the naturally progressive step in 2000 to form his own company focused on merchant services. Robb and his partner built a successful portfolio over the next 7 years before he sold his share of the business and moved his family south to Charlotte, NC.
At that time Robb incorporated XBS -Expert Business Services - an ISO that would employ a distinct business model where he could combine his education and career experiences to bring integrated payment processing and financial resources to a national business market. He uses his industry knowledge, relationships and sales training to benefit merchants and agents alike. Using the nuances of an increasingly complicated credit card processing industry and difficult financial lending climate, Robb and his agents work to generate revenue, increase cash flow and provide access to working capital for their clients.
Dave has three children with his wife Sharon and they are passionate about giving their time, energy and services to increase opportunities for adaptive sports for individuals of all ages with physical disabilities. He was a volunteer coach for junior athletes at Ohio Sled Hockey for 3 years, a program he and his wife helped launch and now assists at weekly practices for the Carolina Crash quad rugby team where his wife serves on the board of directors.
Raised primarily in Minnesota - Robb is a 1983 graduate of Minnesota State University in business management and economics. He lettered 4 years in basketball and 2 years in football, earning an NFL tryout in 1983 with the Green Bay Packers.
